MYSIA, Hadrianothera. Gordian III. AD 238-244. Æ Medallion (43mm, 35.50 g, 12h). Homonoia with Nicomedia. C. Julius Logismus, magistrate. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Asclepius, leaning on serpent-entwined staff, and Demeter, holding patera and torch, standing on galley. F&N 1628 (VsC/R3) = SNG France 2279 = von Fritze, Pergamon pl. IX, 21 (this coin). Near VF, dark brown and green patina. Rare.
